A 'VoIP Call' does not use your mobile phone line. It only uses data. Make sure your mobile rate includes data or use a free WiFi service. Otherwise you might be charged for data use. This calling option gives you the flexibility to call without any usage of your mobile minutes and even if you have no mobile coverage but do have data access via Wifi.
